It is part of the inherent nature of the fabric which gives the product it's natural beauty. Pure linen is also prone to natural expansion and contraction due to the climate and this can affect the finished drop of your curtains. It is recommended that an extra wide hem is used when making your curtains so that finished length can be adjusted should this happen after hanging.
